Monsters are the legends of the deep and also the most difficult creatures to catch. In order to catch a monster you need to know where it feeds and at what time of day it does so. You can catch a monster with or without Monster Bait.

Catching a monster using Monster Bait

Throw some Monster Bait into the water at one of the possible locations the monster will be at and then cast into the baited area. If the monster has a chance to spawn at the location baited Coco will give you a hint saying something like “There must be SOMETHING!”. There will also be bubbles in the water as seen in the picture to the right.

If you fail to tap the screen at the right time quickly try to cast the same place and you might be able to get another try.

Catching a monster without using Monster Bait

If you want to try your luck without bait you will have to cast at one of the possible locations the monster will be at and wait for Coco to say “Patience …”. The fish that bites after that will be the monster.

Similar to above if you fail to tap the screen at the right time you can try to cast at the same place and you might be able to try again.

Shredder is a great white shark found in Paradise Island. It can be caught during night time in the northern part of the map – including north of the garbage patch (to be confirmed), north of the North Waters and in the Dark Waters.

How to unlock Shredder

To unlock the Shredder, you need to finish the quest line at paradise island. Then you need patience and you will find some bubbles with the monster bait. It depends on you, what you want. Sure you can unlock everything and after you did, go to the next level. You just need patience and fun playing.
