Beginner guide
Welcome to Aincrad you have a ruthless grind ahead of you…well that was until you came across the guide book that the Alpha testers left you behind. So look no further as we teach you some tips and tricks
~Character Customization~
When first joining into the game you will be customizing your character be careful as you will have to pay with robux to remake your character.
~Choosing Starting Weapon~
You will now be able to pick your starting weapon and each weapon has some info on it. To get a fast head start I would honestly recommend Straight sword (you will see why later on)
~Spawning in~
Once you have created your character you will spawn in the Town of Beginnings. You have no need to stay here any longer as the shop will not be any good for you. Head straight on out the town
~Levelling Up~
First head straight past the boars (unless you want the drops) and keep going till you find wolves and kill them. They give alright exp and a much needed item the wolf tunic which you can use from level 2.
~Between Levelling up~
Between you levelling up you will gain plenty of common and uncommon drops. When returning to the town you can find the blacksmith and dismantle and upgrade your current best weapon with the unused weapons in your inventory. However any Blue gems keep a hold of as you will need that to upgrade the dungeon armour, as of right now armour is the best thing for your character
~Levelling Up Part 2~
Currently all floor mobs apart from Mini/Bosses give very little exp how ever there are two easy to kill npcs that you can predict movements for which Give 3/4 exp a kill as well as some good drops.
This is where I said to pick the straight sword comes in. Once you have some armour and are level 2 – 3 Head straight into the dungeon. In there you will find kobolds on your first right and left and only one on each side.
This is perfect as you wont get overwhelmed and can alternate between the two.
Kobolds have a very easy to predict pattern. Get in close till they start to swing and quickly back up a little then you have time to rush in and M1 Twice before they swing again and repeat that till they die.
~What Next~
Once reaching level 5 and 6 you will hopefully have some drops from the Kobolds you can equip, the main one you need is the armour. From here you can either stay and farm col and exp from the dungeon and get materials to upgrade weapons and armour or go fight the mini boss for level 8 drops.
~Preparation for Mini Boss/Boss~
Reset or head to town, from there go forward till the first right and you can see the shop you will need to go there and buy as much potions are you can. If you don’t have enough col go farm the dungeon. Potions are the main thing you will need to fight the mini and main boss
~Mini Boss~
Note: Do not be that level 1-5 player who thinks they can come to the mini boss you will not get any exp or credit and often slow down others
Leave the Town and look to your left (North west) and you will see a valley or hill, head that direction and you can see a slope in the valley that leads up, head up then when you can turn left do so and keep going forward till you approach Nepenthes Hill.
Once up there make sure you have a party of 2 or more, mainly containing level 10s with Wardens platemail. From there one person will tank the boss while others attack its back making sure to keep the Minions off the tanking member. After they have used potions and retreat someone else will need to tank the boss till they heal and repeat this process till the boss dies.
!!!!!YOU WILL NOT GAIN EXP OR COL IF YOU DONT DO ENOUGH DAMAGE!!!!!
~Preparation for the Boss Fight~
Before heading to the boss you you will need to make sure you are level 5 and above. You will need to make sure to have 20 potions and above as this boss can deal huge damage as well as the waves of minions. You will also want to make sure to at least upgrade your armour a few times or max it out, as well as upgrading some of your weapons. And try to have a party of 3 or to maximise the time you guys can deal damage
~Boss Raid~
Now when you are ready head to the deepest part of the dungeon with your party, when you all enter you will be greeted to the boss room lighting up. there will be three Kobolds that will spawn one on the left right and middle in front of the boss. if you all take one you should be able to quickly kil them before the boss jumps down.
Now for the first half of the boss fight you will want One person with the strongest armour tank it till they cant heal anymore. Then the next strongest armour value will walk Infront of the boss while the main guy returns to the back to help deal damage., you will need to keep doing this to make sure none of your party members take damage
Once the boss reaches half health More kobolds will spawn around the edges of the map. you will want to get away from the boss and try to not get the Kobolds clumped up as they will deal alot of damage quickly all of you should try to take them out as quickly as possible before the boss can do its leap and stun you.
If that happens. someone who isnt stunned needs to get the bosses aggro till the kobolds are dealt with. Then repeat the step above to finish killing it.
Mastery
Mastery is used to gain sword skills the current mastery level cap is level 3 and the level at which skills are gained are below
Staightsword – 2/3
GreatSword – 2
Rapier – 2/3
