World Tower Defense v1.5 Gamemodes Guide

The gamemodes that are currently in the game are:

Main Gamemodes

Painless Mode
Painless is the beginner’s mode of WTD. Extremely easy and only has a single major boss. As a result, gives the lowest rewards; just a very small amount of credz. Rewards Menacing Mask accessory.

Casual Mode

Casual is the first full-length mode of WTD. Pretty easy overall, and can be won reliably by beginners with a tiny bit of game knowledge. Rewards an average amount of credz, the Conehead Cranium accessory, and a certain amount of tokens depending on which map is selected. Can also give trophies depending on user trophy count and map.

Burdensome Mode

Burdensome is the second full-length mode of WTD. Can be quite challenging for newer players. This mode introduces many new enemies with high-resistances, so you’ll need to prepare a lot more than Casual Mode. Rewards a decent amount of credz along with 1 trophy (2 on Crossroads) and the Paladin’s Pummeler accessory. However, Burdensome Mode does not reward tokens like Casual Mode.

Boss Rush

Boss Rush is the first locked gamemode in WTD, requiring 10 trophies to access. This mode is unique, as instead of going through a normal game, you start with a hefty sum of cash and have to go through each of the major bosses from Casual Mode and Burdensome Mode in order. Rewards a high amount of credz and +1 of every token, as well as 2x the map’s original token reward for Casual Mode, and the Quick Cloak accessory.

Arduous Mode

Arduous Mode is the second locked gamemode in WTD. It requires 20 trophies to access, and is by far the hardest main gamemode in the game. Players are restricted to only using four unit slots instead of the usual five, and Arduous Mode can only be played on specific maps. Rewards an extremely high amount of credz and tokens, as well as a trophy, the Heavenly Crown accessory, and the SWAT building.

Special Gamemodes

Ruined Facility

Ruined Facility is the first locked special gamemode in WTD. It requires 10 trophies to unlock, and is only playable on the map of the same name, Ruined Facility. This mode is a mix of Casual Mode and Burdensome Mode. Rewards a high amount of credz, 2 trophies, and gives access to token units.

Endless Mode

Endless Mode is the second locked special gamemode in WTD. To unlock it, you must complete Arduous Mode. Endless Mode is unique in that the rewards it gives scales with how long you survive. Can reward accessories, Tazer, credz, trophies, and tokens of all colours.

Sandbox Mode

Sandbox Mode is the third locked special gamemode in WTD. It requires only 5 trophies to unlock. Sandbox Mode can be used to test out units before you buy them, to create strategies against certain enemies, or simply to have fun!
