This build focuses on getting crossbows to deal all your damage for you. Something arcane mage struggles with is killing enemies early game and staying safe, so consider rushing boomerang/fire orbs first so you can stay safe while getting exp.
For farming hard mode 1-1, this build focuses on killing enemies far away from you, so you don’t pick up their exp, makes it so you have to click the screen less. I tacked on a coin tome so you can get more out of coin rush, but you can sub for damage if not.

Knight isn’t a hero optimal for damage output, because of his short range and movement speed debuff, but if you want to use him, this will get you a good amount of DPS. You can take out a vampire aura for any other weapon if you have no problems surviving.
Really solid survivability build. Thunderbolt and frost nova will keep enemies crowd controlled so you have time to kill them with a sword and crossbow. The 3 defensive tomes will also make you unkillable.

Your beasts scale off of the area, cooldown, damage, regeneration and movement speed. This build is focused completely on making your beasts unkillable dps machines. Movement speed makes it so you can get to your beasts faster, and they run faster. Fire orbs keep you safe while running around.

This build makes use of paladin’s innate armor and pushback. The star of the show is paladin’s level 40 skill, granting him a 5% chance of getting a shield with every hit. The knight set’s ring also makes that shield explode for insta-kill damage on all nearby enemies. Be careful with elites, with paladin’s hammer, you knock back alot of enemies, out of range of your vampire aura healing, so if you dont pay attention you can get one shot.
